Hello Everyone,
Here is my narrative.

One warm sunny afternoon Erin went out with Tania, William, Claire and Tom the cleaning mermaids. She went to help clean the Great Barrier Reef. It was very beautiful with all these brightly coloured fish, lots of beautiful turtles and bottle nosed dolphins swimming around everywhere.

Lori and Max stayed home because they wanted to have a sleep. They get very tired if they go out, so they don’t go out much and help with the clean up. They would rather sleep or eat food.

Tania, William, Erin, Claire and Tom did a lot of work cleaning up the Great Barrier Reef and the big sandy beach. Just then they all saw cruel looking fishermen coming so they went under the water.

“Do the fishermen want the fish from the Great Barrier Reef?”Asked Erin

“I’m afraid so Erin,” Tania replied.

The fishermen unloaded their little cheap boat that had a lot of holes in it with a broken down motor. They took the boat into the water and they got out their big plastic bucket of poison and they went to put the poison in their boat. They all hopped into the boat. They were about to poison the coral, when the mermaids quickly thought of something to stop the fishermen from poisoning the reef.

“Let’s rock the boat til we think of something to do,” thought the mermaids.

Just then the mermaids started to rock their boat. The mermaids decided to swim out to the deep with the cruel fishermen. The fishermen didn’t know what was happening. The mermaids dragged the boat out to the deep. By the time the mermaids dragged them out the fishermen had fallen asleep. The boat had a motor that didn’t work but they didn’t know that, so the fishermen had no way of going home. Then the mermaids decided to swim back home and leave the fisherman there.

They brought back all the rubbish with them to make it disappear, just as they were about to make it disappear a lot of rubbish was dumped on their city. It was so mush rubbish they couldn’t see the palace or any houses.
It happened when a huge ship passed the palace and the homes. They threw all of their rubbish off of the ship. The king was disgusted so he flung back up the rubbish and put a note on one of the garbage bags so the captain read it and never littered again any where even on soil.

The fisherman drifted to Tokyo in Japan, eventually. They were found and were in very poor health. They learnt their lesson and don’t fish any more. They now prevent people from fishing where they shouldn’t.

Everyone that lived in the mermaid city were very happy.
